The BBC has revealed that the new version of its iPlayer streaming service will be released on PS3 this year.
BBC web developer Simon Cross told TechRadar that iPlayer 3 for PS3 was on the "roadmap" for 2010 (thanks, VG247).
iPlayer 3, currently in beta for browsers, introduces a For You section which recommends shows you may be interested in, and "more social network functionality".
