Blur Gets Official Release Date And Multiplayer Beta

Bizarre Creations really does seem to want to answer the question, “What would Mario Kart look like in the real world?” with its upcoming action-packed racing game Blur. Sadly, I have nothing new to tell you about how the game is coming together at this point, but what I can tell you is that Blur now has a release date and there is a multiplayer beta starting next week. That’s still pretty good, right?

The Project Gotham developer posted a big update over at their official site, which not only included details about the beta that starts March 8, but also that the game will be shunting its way onto store shelves May 25.

The Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer beta will include 14 cars, four tracks, in-game Twitter support and all eight of the game’s super charged power ups. Sounds like a good time to me.
